Luka Doncic and Zion Williamson, the headliners of the NBA's next generation of superstars, met for the second time of their careers on Friday, and they did not disappoint.
Williamson went off for a career-high 36 points plus four assists and two rebounds, but Doncic was even better with 46 points, also a career high, 12 assists and eight rebounds to lead the Mavericks to a 143-130 win.
The win, which also saw Kristaps Porzingis chip in 36 points, extends a four-game win streak for the Mavericks, who may be starting to figure things out after a disappointing start to the season.
