After LSU baseball's win over Texas A&M in the quarterfinal round of the SEC Tournament, there's little doubt about LSU's NCAA Tournament position. The Tigers will be a top-eight seed, putting LSU in position to host a Super Regional should LSU advance out of the first round.

Entering the weekend, LSU head coach Jay Johnson was confident the Tigers had already done enough to earn that top-eight seed.
