How do you respond to a disappointing conference series loss to Texas? LSU baseball responded by putting a 17-piece on Louisiana-Lafayette. LSU fans view Louisiana at "Little Brother."

That looked to be the case on Tuesday night.

Jaden Noot got the start on the mound and the Cajuns were able to score a run on him in the top of the first inning to take an early lead.

In the bottom of the first inning, the LSU bats caught fire as the Tigers scored nine runs. Danny Dickinson hit a ground rule double for an RBI, Ethan Frey hit a two-RBI double, Cade Arrambide hit a two-run homer, and Jared Jones hit a grand slam to give LSU a 9-1 lead.
