CARSON, Calif. — As far as big games go for Major League Soccer, it is hard to think of a more enticing setup that the one it presented Sunday: two major-market teams, the Los Angeles Galaxy and New York City F.C., featuring a rematch of former Premier League stars, with a bevy of marquee former European club stars to fill in.
