Bob Carney snagged two coveted tickets for him and his daughter to see his Broncos play in the Super Bowl this year.
However, he never made it to the game.
Carney, 73, died in his hotel just hours after arriving in Glendale, Ariz., on the eve of Super Bowl 50.

His daughter, hospice nurse Cindy Hoffman, did what she could in the aftermath of her father's death but realized her father would have wanted her to go to the game.
