The Los Angeles Lakers and Marcelo Huertas have agreed on a two-year contract. Huertas announced the news on his Instagram account.

Last season, the point guard joined the Lakers after spending 14 years playing professionally overseas. Huertas, 33, averaged 4.5 points and 3.4 assists in in 53 games.

Those numbers might have been more impressive if he was playing in new Lakers coach Luke Walton's offense. Huertas is a creative passer who thrives in transition and in the pick-and-roll.
