San Francisco (AFP) - NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said he welcomed the decision by New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft to accept the league's penalties, but said it won't affect quarterback Tom Brady's four-game suspension.

Goodell told reporters Wednesday at the annual NFL owners' meeting that Kraft chose to accept the punishment for using improperly deflated footballs in the "Deflategate" scandal without any added pressure from the league.
