Klay Thompson goes off for 16 4th quarter points in win over Lakers

Sorry to the rest of the NBA, but Klay Thompson is very much starting to look like his old self.

The Golden State Warriors All-Star had his biggest night since returning from his two-year injury layoff on Saturday, posting 33 points on 12-of-22 shooting (5-of-9 from deep) in a 117-115 win over the Los Angeles Lakers.

Sixteen of those points came in the fourth quarter, which saw a slugfest with a Lakers team desperate to show they can right the ship after an inactive trade deadline, effectively doubling down on a roster that has so far posted a 26-31 record.
