ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit said a team that just missed the College Football Playoff in 2014 could get back in the mix in 2014.
It’s easy to forget how good TCU — ranked No. 13 in the Preseason AP Poll — can be this season. The Horned Frogs are 23-3 the last two seasons but flying a little low despite starting out 8-0 in 2015.
"With all the talk about expectations about Oklahoma coming out of the Big 12, (TCU) has a chance to be somewhat of a surprise,” Herbstreit said. “Not to just to win the Big 12; I think they could go on a run and make the playoff.
