Kirk Cousins Will Sign with Broncos in Free Agency, Says Redskins' DJ Swearinger

Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins is likely looking for a new home this offseason, and his teammate D.J. Swearinger believes he will end up with the Denver Broncos, per Andrew Siciliano of NFL Network.

Although Cousins has spent his entire six-year career with the Redskins, the team apparently already found the free agent's replacement in Alex Smith after acquiring him in a trade with the Chiefs.

The Redskins have reportedly considered placing a franchise tag on Cousins, limiting his options by choosing which team to trade him to, but the quarterback would file a grievance with the NFL in that situation, per Kimberly A.
