Kevin Na Leaves Yips Behind to Take Share of Lead at Players Championship

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. — From his perch in the television tower, David Duval believed he could see inside Tiger Woods’s head on Thursday at the Players Championship. “It looks like he’s thinking about every position through the entire golf swing,” said Duval, who twice supplanted Woods at No. 1 in 1999 for a total of 15 weeks. “That has handcuffed him both physically and between the ears.”

Kevin Na on Friday offered his cranium for the advancement of sports psychology. “Do you want to open up my brain and check it out?” he said with a laugh.
