Kevin Harvick says team talking more in Rodney Childers' absence

Kevin Harvick says being at Pocono Raceway without crew chief Rodney Childers brought new challenges to his Sprint Cup team.

He was also trying to find the positive aspects of the change.

Team engineer Dax Gerringer worked as crew chief for the Pennsylvania 400 after NASCAR officials suspended Childers one race. Childers was banned and fined for a lug nut violation discovered after last Sunday's race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Without Childers in the fold, Harvick said the team worked together differently this week — and that's not all a bad thing.
