Jury reportedly finds Brandon Marshall not liable for punching woman

Jets receiver Brandon Marshall, who gave two hours of dramatic, emotional testimony Thursday, was found not liable in the civil trial over whether he punched a woman outside a New York nightclub in 2012, his attorney informed ESPN.com.

A jury ruled today that Brandon Marshall did not assault a woman in 2012 and is not responsible for damages, per attorney Harvey Steinberg.

Christin Myles sued Marshall for at least $75,000 plus punitive damages, claiming that on March 11, 2012, Marshall — who played for the Dolphins at the time — gave her a painful black eye during a melee outside Manhattan nightclub Marquee.
