Julius Peppers Reportedly Will Re-Sign with Panthers on 1-Year Contract

Following a successful return to the Carolina Panthers in 2017, Julius Peppers reportedly will be back with the team next season.

Joe Person of the Charlotte Observer reported Peppers will re-sign with Carolina for his 17th NFL season on what is "expected" to be a one-year contract.

Peppers has played for the Panthers, Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers in his career. He has spent the bulk of his career with the Panthers, who drafted him No. 2 overall in 2002 and brought him back to help anchor their defensive line in 2017.
