Johnny Manziel will be suspended four games for violating the league's substance abuse policy, according to multiple reports.

What makes the suspension interesting is that, according to TMZ Sports, the ban relates only to the 2016 season. If by some miracle Manziel cleans up his act enough to the point a team feels comfortable signing him for 2017, then he won't serve the suspension.
The ban likely will have no impact considering the free-agent quarterback is viewed as "radioactive" by teams. Not only does he have this suspension hanging over him, but he's also in the middle of a legal battle in which he's accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend.
