John Saunders, ESPN stalwart and host of "The Sports Reporters" has died. He was 61.
Colleague Hannah Storm announced the news on ESPN on Wednesday morning.
A Toronto native, Saunders joined ESPN in 1986 and had filled a variety of roles both there and with ABC. He had hosted "The Sports Reporters," a Sunday morning staple, since Dick Schaap's death in 1991.
