John Elway's business partner and former agent is on life support after injuries suffered from falling off of a golf cart Elway was driving, according to a TMZ report.
According to the report, Jeff Sperbeck, 61, was riding in the back of the golf cart Saturday evening in La Quinta, California when he fell and hit his head on asphalt. He was rushed to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs.
TMZ confirmed that Elway was driving the golf cart when the incident occurred, though "there's no indication he did anything wrong," TMZ wrote. The former Broncos quarterback immediately called 911 after the accident.
