Joe Thornton has waited a long time to get to the Stanley Cup Final; 19 seasons, to be exact. So maybe he's earned the right to prepare for it as he darn well pleases.

When asked after the Sharks secured their trip to the Final with a 5-2 win against the Blues on Wednesday, Thornton had this to say about whether he'd watch Game 7 of the Eastern Conference finals between the Penguins and Lightning on Thursday:
"It depends. My little daughter, she draws a lot, so I've either got to draw with her or watch 'Cars' with my little boy, or watch the game, so I'll be bouncing back and forth tomorrow.
