After reports suggested former New York Jets wide receiver Mecole Hardman leaked the team's gameplans to the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs, the cornerback brought back a 2013 tweet:
This comes after Connor Hughes of SNY reported "there was validated belief from the Jets" that Hardman leaked the gameplans to those two opponents as he was "frustrated by his lack of usage."
Hardman signed with the Jets ahead of the 2023 season but played just five games before they traded him to Kansas City, which was the same team he suited up for during the first four years of his career.
