As the New York Jets look to grab a franchise quarterback with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft, they will have a handful of options to choose from regardless of how the first two picks play out.
Let's just say Jets legend Joe Namath hopes Baker Mayfield is still available when Gang Green go on the clock.
Namath recently told ESPN's Rich Cimini that of all the quarterbacks in this year's draft class, the former Oklahoma Sooners star stands out above the rest.
"I haven't met them, but I've watched them and the most outrageous, so to speak, that I've seen has been Mayfield," Namath said, per Cimini.
