Jenny Bae leads on LPGA for first time; Brianna Do's U.S. Women's Open quest stays alive

The LPGA's inaugural Mexico Riviera Maya Open at Mayakoba has gone to the weekend and there were just 24 golfers under par after two rounds. There's also a golfer who enjoyed her first-ever overnight lead tour.

The 36-cut at El Camaleon Golf Course in Playa del Carmen came in at 5 over, as the field learned to navigate this course for the first time during hot and humid conditions.

Big names to make the cut are Charley Hull, Carlota Ciganda, a previous winner of an LPGA event in Mexico, Linn Grant, as well as eight of the 16 rookies who are in the field this week.
