Jason McIntyre, founder of The Big Lead sports blog, is in negotiations to join Fox Sports, Sporting News has learned. McIntyre would be the third person on Jason Whitlock and Colin Cowherd's new "Speak for Yourself" TV show on FS1 that premieres June 13 (6 p.m. ET).
“We are in talks with Jason McIntyre for a role on the show, but we don’t have a deal in place yet," Fox spokesman Chris Hannan told SN by phone Wednesday night from SportsBusiness Daily's 2016 Sports Business Awards. The network is auditioning a variety of talent for the show, he added.
