After a confrontation with a New Jersey woman outside a restaurant that went viral earlier this week, former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce and his wife Kylie received a kind gesture that should help them forget about it.
Michael Collins, the mayor of Margate City, N.J., took to social media to apologize to the couple and invite them to have a meal in town on his dime.
"On behalf of the City of Margate, I'd like to formally apologize to Jason & Kylie Kelce for the experience they had in Margate City over the holiday weekend," Collins said in a statement posted on Facebook on Wednesday (h/t Christian Arnold of the New York Post).
