Jarryd Hayne wishes he could have stayed with the 49ers, but the recent coaching change would have made it too difficult for him to understand the playbook.
Hayne, a former Australian Rugby League player, transitioned somewhat successfully from rugby to the NFL, but said the fact that he didn't play college football put him at a disadvantage in easily understanding plays.

“I just think with Chip (Kelly’s) playbook, it’s such an intense playbook that it would just take too much time,” Hayne told Australia’s Fairfax Media.
