The Jacksonville Jaguars did not opt to sign any defensive linemen or pass rushers through the first phase of free agency in March.
They signed Emmanuel Ogbah shortly following the draft, but selecting linebacker/EDGE Jalen McLeod out of Auburn could be the shrewd move to help get to the pass rusher Jacksonville has needed for quite some time.
A sixth-round pick, McLeod isn't expected to come in and become the next Lawrence Taylor. But, he could be a player who impacts the team's defense sooner rather than later. His versatility, having the ability to play on and off-ball linebacker, could earn him early playing time as a change-of-pace pass rusher.
