Jadeveon Clowney agrees to 1-year deal with Titans worth reported $15M

Jadeveon Clowney agreed to sign with the Tennessee Titans on a one-year contract, the team announced Sunday afternoon. The deal is worth $15 million, per an earlier report by ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Clowney was “expected to sign” with the team as of Saturday night. The New Orleans Saints were also interested in the defensive end, but their offer came in about $2 million below the Titans offer, per Dianna Russinni of ESPN.

Clowney was the No. 1 pick in the 2014 NFL draft and spent most of his career with the Houston Texans before being traded to the Seattle Seahawks before the 2019 season.
