The Steel City hype behind the Pittsburgh Steelers drafting Shedeur Sanders in the 2025 NFL Draft has never been higher — but one insider is warning fans not to believe the move will actually happen.
With Panthers GM Dan Morgan admitting that Carolina would be open to trading back from the No. 8 pick in the draft, and the Saints almost certainly set to select Sanders with the No. 9 pick, some fans have suggested the Steelers leapfrog New Orleans — but insider Gerry Dulac slammed the door shut on the move: “Not happening.”
During Wednesday’s Steelers chat on the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Dulac was asked what the odds were that the Steelers would consider trading up for Sanders: “Zip.
