Inside the NFL's L.A. vote: Jerry Jones talked 'big balls' and Bob Iger bombed

We now have the definitive story of the vote that led to the NFL's return to Los Angeles. It is on ESPN.com, it is written by Seth Wickersham and Don Van Natta Jr., and it is fantastic.

On Jan. 12, NFL owners voted to award the league's L.A. relocation bid to St. Louis owner Stan Kroenke. We'd say Rams packed their stuff the next day, but they'd probably done it already.

The losers in the process were the Chargers and Raiders, who'd teamed up for a proposal to move both their teams to Carson, Calif.
