Indians hurler Carrasco hit in face by line drive

Cleveland (AFP) - Cleveland Indians pitcher Carlos Carrasco was hit in the face by a line drive off the bat of Melky Cabrera on Tuesday in a 4-1 loss to the Chicago White Sox.

The Indians said Carrasco had apparently escaped serious injury, with initial tests showing no indication of concussion or broken bones.
