Indianapolis Colts wearing jersey patch in 2025 for owner Jim Irsay

The Indianapolis Colts announced that they will wear a black jersey patch throughout the 2025 season, honoring owner Jim Irsay, who passed away last week.

According to the team site, the patch will feature Irsay's initials, his signature, along with the smiley face that he always included when signing autographs.

You'll also see around Irsay's initials seven grommets for the seven grommets that are on the Colts' horseshoe logo.

Irsay had led the Colts' organization since 1997, which included winning two AFC Championships and a Super Bowl title during the 2006 season.
