Quarterback Brock Purdy on Friday agreed to a contract extension that made him one of the NFL's 10 highest paid QBs. He also received a massive raise over his paltry (by NFL QB standards) rookie contract.
It's easy to look at the sums and notice the substantial difference in the two deals. Purdy's four-year rookie contract as the final pick in the 2022 NFL draft was worth a total of $3,737,012. His new extension is worth up to $265 million.
ESPN's Nick Wagoner broke it down even further to highlight just how substantial that raise is.
