'I think they set a standard.' Ryle boys volleyball swept in state opener, finish 22-4

The inaugural boys volleyball season for the Ryle Raiders under the Kentucky High School Athletic Association banner was a successful one. Ryle went 22-4 and was the Sixth Region champion before falling to Louisville Trinity in straight sets on Wednesday, 25-13, 25-19, 25-17.

The Trinity Shamrocks, coming to Ryle after finishing as Region 5 runner-up, eased into the match, going from a slim 14-10 lead in the initial set to a 25-13 victory to open the match.
