On Friday, the All-NBA teams for the 2024-25 season were announced by the league. There were few, if any, surprises as far as who was voted onto the first team, as guards Donovan Mitchell and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, forwards Jayson Tatum and Giannis Antetokounmpo and center Nikola Jokic made the cut.
Gilgeous-Alexander was named the regular-season MVP earlier this week, and Jokic, who had won the award in three of the previous four seasons, was the runner-up.
The Los Angeles Lakers' LeBron James was one of the forwards on the All-NBA Second Team. The other four players voted onto that squad were Evan Mobley of the Cleveland Cavaliers, New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson, future Hall of Famer Stephen Curry and rising Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards.
