Wally Ellenson will not be playing basketball for Marquette next season, the school announced Thursday.
A dual athlete, Ellenson will retain his athletic scholarship until graduation if he remains on the track and field team.

"We appreciate the contributions Wally has made during his two years with the program and wish him the best of luck the remainder of the season in the high jump and moving forward," head coach Steve Wojciechowski said in a press release.
