Michigan State baseball will begin Big Ten Tournament play on Tuesday in an intriguing matchup with Nebraska.
The Spartans received the final bid into the Big Ten Tournament as the No. 12 seed and will face No. 8 seed Nebraska in their opening game. Michigan State will then play No. 1 seed Oregon on Thursday.
In baseball, the Big Ten tournament starts as a round robin, where teams are split into four pods of three - playing the other two teams in the pods. The team with the best record at the conclusion of the two games will move on to a single elimination semifinal matchup.
