Heidenheim goalkeeper Müller 'doing much better' after collision

Heidenheim goalkeeper Kevin Müller is "doing much better" after being concussed in a heavy collision in their Bundesliga match against Bochum, club chairman Holger Sanwald has said.

"He is responsive, he answers in a normal way. He is still feeling a little bit dizzy," Sanwald told broadcasters ZDF late Saturday.

"He is well again. We are also hopeful that he can return soon. He is already asking when he can be back on the pitch."

Müller, 34, and Bochum player Ibrahima Sissoko collided in the 50th minute of Friday's 0-0 draw.

Müller was briefly knocked unconscious and was treated for some 10 minutes on the pitch before being taken off on a stretcher and to hospital where the concussion was diagnosed.
