Pat Riley did it again.
The Miami Heat had the steal of the NBA Draft on Thursday night when Justise Winslow fell into their laps with the 10th pick. It’s a perfect matchup of player and team, and Miami Heat fans have to be walking on air this morning.

Before we get to how this happened, let’s talk about Winslow. An athletic wing who just won a national championship at Duke, Winslow is a 6-foot-6 220-pound wrecking ball with elite athleticism. He can already defend 2s and 3s at the NBA level, and it wouldn’t surprise me if he could play some undersized 4 with a small ball lineup.
