Guardiola rules out defensive reinforcements in January

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola insists he has no plans to sign any fullbacks during the January transfer window.

Guardiola brought in a new goalkeeper, center back, central midfielder and two attacking midfielders this summer but elected to stick with Aleksandar Kolarov, Gael Clichy, Pablo Zabaleta and Bacary Sagna.

All but Kolarov are out of contract at the end of the season and are expected to leave the club, though Inter is interested in signing Zabaleta this winter.

City is interested in Arsenal's Hector Bellerin and has been linked with Bayern Munich's David Alaba and Juan Bernat in recent weeks.
