Gibbs drivers' Talladega race begins after inspection issues

Toyota critics have new fuel for the bonfires during Sunday's Chase race at Talladega.

Three drivers from Joe Gibbs Racing had to make adjustments to their cars in order to qualify on Saturday. And ally Furniture Row Racing had to replace a part on its car.

The Gibbs cars will be driven by Matt Kenseth, Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch in Sunday's Hellmann's 500. All ran afoul because of their rear deck lids.

Pole-sitter Martin Truex Jr. has the FRR car.

Of the five in the combination, only Carl Edwards escaped the attention of NASCAR.
