New York Giants' cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie was suspended Wednesday by the team.
Head coach Ben McAdoo said he spoke with Rodgers-Cromartie on Tuesday and on Wednesday he decided to leave the team.
McAdoo did not provide any more information to reporters.
