WWE announces major China TV deal

It was a huge announcement for the WWE on Friday with the company striking an exclusive multi-year deal for both Raw and SmackDown to air on the Chinese streaming platform PPTV beginning June 28.

WWE had been trying to enhance their penetration in China for several years and this deal does just that in a major way with PPTV currently reaching 400 million subscribers. Those subscribers will also have access to WWE pay-per-views and additional content via Video On Demand.
