Even though Georgia coach Kirby Smart has been skirting around the question for weeks, Nick Chubb is slated to play in the Bulldogs' season opener against North Carolina, 11 Alive News reported.
The running back suffered a gruesome knee injury during Georgia's game against Tennessee last year. Both Chubb and the team have worked extensively to get him back to playing shape.
Smart seemed to finally confirm that Chubb will be on the field, with Chubb's name the first listed off when asked who will be playing against the Tar Heels.
