Georgia tailback Sony Michel broke his left forearm Sunday evening, reportedly in an accident involving an all-terrain vehicle.
UGA officials confirmed the injury Monday night but did not provide details. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, citing sources, reported Michel was injured while riding an ATV.

Michel underwent surgery Monday at Athens Regional Medical Center. The university said a full recovery is anticipated but it did not give a timetable for his return.
The 5-11, 212-pound junior recorded a team-high 1,161 rushing yards and scored eight touchdowns last season.
