Georgia Bulldogs cornerback Ondre Evans was seen on crutches during their G-Day spring game, which he didn't participate in. Evans shared on his Instagram story that he underwent successful ACL surgery. The typical recovery period for this kind of injury is usually at least eight to nine months, which means Evans will likely miss at least part of the regular season for Georgia.
Evans joined Georgia as a four-star recruit in the 2024 class that ranked first in the nation. The Nashville, Tennessee, native didn't play in any games for the Bulldogs last fall and still has four years of eligibility left.
