Gael Monfils never disappoints.

The Frenchman, known for his hustle on the court, was over on Court 17 playing his first round match against Gilles Muller when he chased after a ball well over his head. He leaped up and miraculously made contact, but it came at the expense of a baseline clock.

Monfils hit the clock and it went crashing to the ground, nearly crushing his leg. It was utterly destroyed.

Luckily, Monfils was umharmed and able to go on playing.

Canadian Genie Bouchard, who’s unranked this year in the women’s draw, enjoyed the moment.
