FTW: The stupidity of NFL training camp fights

Congratulations, Buttfumble, you’ve been replace in New York Jets lore after a sixth-round pick, Ikemefuna Enemkpali (above), broke the jaw of starting quarterback Geno Smith with a sucker punch during a locker-room altercation on Tuesday. Driving home yesterday in the Washington D.C. area, I was subjected to a radio conversation about the importance of training camp scuffles. They build character, it was said. They unite the team toward a common goal. They show everyone cares deeply about their play on the field.
