Play was scheduled to begin at Roland Garros at 11 a.m. local time, with 10 quarterfinal slots across the men's and women's singles draws still to be decided.
However, the scheduled start time was delayed on a number of occasions by tournament organizers due to continued rain, before confirmation at 1:40 p.m. local time that Day 9 was a wash.
