Former Twins pitcher Scott Erickson charged in connection with fatal hit and run

Former MLB pitcher Scott Erickson has been charged with a misdemeanor count of reckless driving in connection with a fatal hit and run in Westlake Village, California, according to the Los Angeles Daily News.

Erickson, 52, was reportedly involved in a race with a car driven by Rebecca Grossman moments before Grossman’s vehicle struck and killed two boys in a crosswalk on Sept. 29. Erickson was charged with reckless driving, and is due in court on March 16.

Grossman was charged with two felony counts of murder and vehicular manslaughter. She was also charged with a felony count of hit and run driving that resulted in death, according to The Los Angeles Daily News.
