Former Laker Julius Randle says Kobe Bryant taught him how to deal with adversity

Throughout his years in the NBA, Julius Randle has been doubted and even criticized by plenty of people. Fans have second-guessed his shot selection and decision-making while getting on him for his inconsistent shooting efficiency.

After helping to make the New York Knicks into a consistent playoff threat, he was sent to the Minnesota Timberwolves late last offseason along with Donte DiVincenzo for All-Star big man Karl-Anthony Towns. Some felt the Knicks got the better end of the deal, but the Timberwolves have been surging of late.

Despite being slight underdogs to the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of the playoffs, they knocked off the Lakers in five games, and they now lead the short-handed Golden State Warriors three games to one in the Western Conference semifinals.
