Former Chiefs assistant Britt Reid to reportedly enter guilty plea after car crash that injured girl

Former Kansas City Chiefs assistant Britt Reid will reportedly plead guilty to felony driving while intoxicated Monday, according to multiple reports.

Reid, who is the son of current Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, was charged with driving while intoxicated after he hit two cars near the Chiefs' practice facility in Feb. 2021. The crash injured two children. One of the children, 5-year-old Ariel Young, sustained a traumatic brain injury. The Chiefs paid Young's medical bills.

Reid reportedly told police he consumed two or three drinks before driving and was on prescription Adderall.
